Hi, just wondering if there is a altezza/is200 group in adelaide?

quite a few is200's in adelaide
althoug most people that own them are over 40 and /or arent into modding ;)

only 5 i have seen modded

white is with elegance kit and wing

grey is with number plate poi5on with phat chromies

white with phat chromies

orange one with number plate lextacy twin exhaust, chromies legana kit

and the nicest one of all white one with carbon fibre hood, mega dumped and legana kit, darkened tail lights and healights, i always see him on rundle st/melbourne st i think he is a bartender... such a damn nice car!!!

and me and beerbaron.. dammit... we need to start carding ppl lol!

Well, certainly get together Andy, because beerbaron knows heaps about cars and would be a great source of info on how to lower a car or re-tune the engine.

as for the white one - i think ive seen that one too

although spotted a white is200,lowered with carbon bonnet and the plate was rsr200

NICE.. Basically I lived over in Japan for few years and returned late last year and brought it over with me on the Personal Import Scheme...

Its fully stock 6MT besides a Pioneer GPS/TV/DVD Player (which the GPS/TV dont work here anyway as Pioneer never made a DVDROM map for Australia) mmm.. It has a few factory extras like altezza mats, rain guards even a factory fitted waste bin..??

Had a choice when I bought it to go for a fully mod'd version or a stock version, but had to refrain from getting something too crazy as I knew how picky Regency can be.. so stock it was..

is yours the black one? because that is niiiiiiice, i drove behind you a few times trying to take a photo of the altezza sign LOL

Nah Im not the black one but saw that one parked in the city.. and thought I found another Tez but on closer inspection of the interior it was an IS with exterior Altezza badges and grille.. Thats if we are talking about the same one..

beerbaron remember the white one you said you saw with number plate rsr200? its been completely debadged and im not sure if its an rs200 or is200. it's sounds quite raspy like the way everyone describes the rs200 but i remember pulling up next to it at the lights and I wanted to find out whether it was IS or RS the other night so I thought what better way to find out but to drag it. not sure he was trying or not but we were going about the same speed and I was abit more infront.

Hey i am new here and getting a IS200 when i can go for the loan, but would like to hear about what other people from adelaide have to say in regards to mods. What you have tried what worked what didnt basic things like that.

well i was thinking the 1999 or the 2000 model unfortunatly i cant tell you more then that, only really just getting into Lexus, and that is the reason i joined up here so i can learn abit more about them before i get mine

well if you like driving, imho i would get a manual
they are a nice 6 speed manual, the auto is more a relaxed cruiser

oh how could i forget to mention that, yea i was aiming for manual.

comes with heated alacantra seats, lsd, front fog lights, tract control, 17" alloys

some have more like xenon head lights, a legana or elagance body kit, sunroof and different style 17" alloys or the smaller 16" alloys

be prepared to shop around, especially in adelaide

ok, one i saw that i liked the look of was as far as i could tell a white stock 2000 model or there was a black 99 with gold rims but over all i think the white one looked like it had been kept in better condition. Hmm the lux does sound nice but do you have a guess on price? so far i have seem them ranging from 19k-25k

that one in mawsons doesnt have the heated seats or the alacantra but its black and its manual with low km's

Heh i would, but unfortunatly i need to wait abit longer to be able to apply for a bank loan..or though i could try but didnt really want to borrow the whole 23k right now ><3rd week into new job and wanted to/been told by a few people that i need to wait for alittle while to be able to apply for a loan or something along those lines
