just wondering if a single howto section was considered instead of stickys per forum ?

Not a bad idea.. As the site gets bigger and harder to find stuff in..

When I get some free time I'll look into the best way to do it-

Could you cut n paste How To's from other sites?

I have seen a few handy DIY installs on the US forums!

A HOW-TO or DIY forum would be cool. Could link to the PDFs already on the DIY mods page, and also move all the sticky threads to a new home :)

It would also be a chance to 'refresh' some of the sticky threads, make sure details are current, shorten the original posts down with all the experience gathered etc.

And copying from other forums isn't a problem, as long as everything is properly credited and linked back to the source :)

Ok, its up-

Anyone can post in there, so if you click on your own username and find all the posts by yourself, you can link any how-to posts into the new forum.

If you see anything that should be in there on your travels around the site, put up a link.

The mods and I will try to re-arrange as needed to keep it tidy.

It should dove-tail into CPUfix's index of all topics, which is on my other computer..
