Yes, if you don't like something the way the manufacturer made it then simply fix it up.

TRD328 - November 4, 2004 02:50 AM (GMT)
a typical mechs week has 21 days.
Tomorrow means a 3-4 days later.
Soon means "dunno mate"
Stephen - November 4, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
And "completed" means....."just need to bolt engine back in" :D
cct3 - November 4, 2004 06:58 AM (GMT)
True true.. Mech..sigh... Just have to wait ..
Shane: Talked to Motec, they just need 3 days to wire it up.. :o (Mec is taking 3 weeks!)

IS Motor Racing..
"A few hours" = a few hours
"a week" = 5 days
"gtr engine rebuild will take 3.5 weeks" = 4 weeks. The delay was not their fault either B) . They were doing 3 rebuilds simultaneously at one stage. Indy holds the unofficial oz record for a complete rebuild to spec.
they are doing a stroker, port, cams for an evo now.. 1 month they said.. let's see
Brian_J - November 4, 2004 07:38 AM (GMT)
yeh indy was all bitter(jokingly) that he coudlnt replace my springs
"ahh i used to be able to do them quicker! shouldnt have taken THAT long" and it wasnt that long either!

Man! That was cold!!
?uestlove - November 9, 2004 05:06 AM (GMT)
Che..... ITS ALIVE!!!
Car started first go man! On Standard IS200 ECU!! Idle was good too! BUT (Always a BUT) the fuel pump problem, has arisen!! Graham/Che, take note:
As we discussed, the stock fuel pump, does not have a return line, we put the Supra TT pump in, hoping it will work with this theory, but fuel started coming out of the fuel rail, we are going to block it, hopefuully this will be ok, hook up a fuel pressure gauge, and if its steady, its sweet, if not, we will have to run a return line. But other than that, its FINALLY looking good!!
Stephen - November 9, 2004 05:21 AM (GMT)
So not long to go before it sees the road again?
?uestlove - November 9, 2004 05:44 AM (GMT)
Well lets not jinx it, but hopefully very soon!
