Got a set of Bridgestone Adrenaline's 215/45/17 for $250 a piece fitted and balanced. Don't have much experience with different brands of tyres but have can say that ride comfort, noise, braking, and acceleration is great, and cornering is unbeliveable. The best feature however is the amount of notice you get before they give out which is great for safety on a everyday tyre. Haven't had a chance to test them out in the wet yet.

Additionally the shop is about 200m away from the Park Road coffee shops so you can have a cuppa and abuse some cyclists on the sat morn whilst they change your tyres.

what was the asking price intially? or was $250 the asking price?

It varies a fair bit but I was quoted $285 as the starting price, from Bob Jane. Great tyres, however you need to warm them up to get them working at full potential, fortunately summer is just around the corner. The amount of notice you get before loosing grip is definately helping me develop my driving skills too.
