Title: Issue With "review Topic"

yanman - August 10, 2007 04:23 AM (GMT)
Hi all,

When I'm replying to a topic by clicking the Add Reply button on the bottom of the page, it brings me to the normal replying screen with the last 10 posts in the thread, however, when I scroll down to the bottom to review the thread beyond 10 posts by clicking Review Topic it brings me to 127.0.0.1

I'm just wondering if someone can confirm with me whether they get the same issue? And whether it's done on purpose or not?

Cheers,

Yan

PS: Sorry if this has been posted before

Got a screen shot?? I'm not sure which page you're looking at-

Don't worry, I found it-

I've never used it before, but it worked on the first topic I tried!

OK, I went here because it had 40+ replies

Clicking 'add reply' then 'review whole topic' opened a new page here-

So that worked as it should.

Didn't work for me, tried it on a PC running Vista and a Mac.

Probably because I'm using Mozilla Firefox on both platforms. What are you using Keith? I'll try IE 7 after dinner.

I just tried it using Opera and had the same issue

Works in IE7 though. It's a shame that features like that only work with inferior software. At some stage I'll try it from my desktop in linux and see how it works. Don't hold out much hope though

Anyone on here using Netscape? If so, any issues?

PS: The issue doesn't happen on other forums I'm on though...

Yep, would be IE7. IE7 seems to work fine. Just 3rd party browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Opera (we've gathered so far) that doesn't work with that feature on this forum.

Bloody Microshaft and their monopoly. And then we get issues like this where web site designers put in features that don't work for people who don't follow like sheep
