Just had my transmission (5spd Trip) flushed today at Midas in invercargill and fixed my sump plug as someone had stripped it :angry: . The work he did was great, friendly to talk to (anything car related) and great prices (I think). He tried to get other oil for the tranny as Toyota oil is expensive ($83 for 4 litres, he was as shocked as I was!) alas no luck. Final bill came and he thought it was abit excessive so he took off some of his labour, top bloke, was $600+, ended up $518. Would recommend him to anyone, and as a bonus he has some nissan SX? thing in his garage to drool over, has a V8 under the hood putting out 550hp at the rear wheels and thats without the NOS. Its won the autosaloon dyno contest a few years running. :)
