Title: Is250 Recalled
Description: Fuel lines

bmalar - January 29, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
Hey all. So i got this letter the other week and my IS250 has been recalled.

I've got a late '05 model and only this month it has been recalled for fuel lines. I'll have to post the details of what the problem was when i have the letter sitting in front of me, but it was along the lines of: "high pressure situations can cause fuel leaks"

In any case, its back at the dealer today and I'll have it back this afternoon.

Something to keep in the back of your mind if you are considering buying a 2nd hand IS250 is to ensure this work has been done. Not sure how far and wide the problem streched, although I believe some GS and even Hiluxes may have been effected ???

If anyone has more details, please share

:D

Yeh the GS's are effected too, and if your ARE buying a 2nd hand IS or GS it should of the recall sticker on the drivers side pillar somewhere near the door hinge to show that the works been done :).

Has there been a national fix on this after the recalls?

What about the later dated models?
