Hi guys,

My car's front lower arm bushes is worn and my mechanic told me I have to change the whole arm as Toyota does not make them separately and the cost of the whole arm is very expensive.

Came to know TRD does make the bushes separately. (TRD Part No. 48654-SE100, 48655-SE100 and 48657-SE100. Source from http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_bush-altezza.html). Does anyone done these before? My concern is whether the the TRD bushes would fit the arm nicely and is it a diffcult job?

generally control arm bushes are a pain in the arse to fit. they need to be burnt out with an oxy & the new ones pssed in. its not a simple DIY but a job for a pro who has all the right tools.

Buy the bushes & get your mechanic local suspension shop to fit them.

Somehow I have a feeling that the F/L arm bushes are avail aftermarket.

Will take a look at work tomorrow for you if I remember.

just bringing this up again. I've been told I need new bushes for my front control arm. They can't find nurothane for them?

Super Pro make them.

Fulcrum suspension ( the tein distributors) stock them.

I can now do TRD bushes to suit!

Reg just confirming you want me to price bushes for arm #1?

OK according to the TRD site it should be numbers:
6 Front lower arm bush No.1 48654-SE101
7 Front lower arm bush No.2 48655-SE100
8 Front lower arm bush support 48657-SE100



However... The Toyota pricing site is down at the moment, will be back up Monday hopefully so will price it up for you then Reg

Prices for the bushes are as follows:

6 Front lower arm bush No.1 48654-SE101:
RRP = $68NZD ea
ACNZ VIPs = $57.80NZD ea
7 Front lower arm bush No.2 48655-SE100
RRP = $66NZD ea
ACNZ VIPs = $56.10NZD ea

The 8 Front lower arm bush support 48657-SE100 isn't normally done apparently so scrap that one.

1 problem, they are Ex Japan (2-3 weeks wait) from the point of order for the bushes, I've got 2 x #7 Bush in stock but all others are Ex Japan.

I've replaced the bushes in the image that xnickx has circled in red as #1. About $70 each I think. Simple press out old, press in new. Took about 1 hour including removal and fitment of the arms. I think i have some arms somewhere without the bushes anyone wants to do a swap eg take mine, get new bushes fitted slowtime, then fit them and give me your old ones as it suits.
