How many pieces is it made from? If you can take a pattern, many many cheap copies could be made and sold on for a profit... ;-)
It certainly looks the part, well done :-)

OK so do you have before and after performance specs or is the metal box just for show and to cool the air down.
Be nice to know why you brought it and what effect it has once its fitted.
Perhaps a link to show us all why you wanted to buy the unit.
Cheers

Umm I would have thought it restricted airflow but since Craig's said he is running a pipe to the front of the car then probably it acts just like a stock airbox but less restrictive in the sense that he has a bigger pipe (lets hope) to let air through. Also it probably just acts like a heat shield, right?
Yes Craig do tell if you felt any performance difference, I am quite interested in one of these but am thinking about making my own heat shield as well once I get my induction kit.
craigb - February 13, 2008 06:01 AM (GMT)
I've read on here that pod setups don't like hot air,so heat shield was the main reason for buying.Plus just wanted to tidy up that corner.performance difference unsure at the moment as car is not used as every day ride, but bound to be some kind of difference.let you no after i take it for a cruz.Sorry that's all i can tell you at the moment.

Thanks dude. We've had a few miss-orders in the last month - eye's been well and truly off the ball as I have had to sort out a 6-month long bank issue that the Bank should have sorted out (hey, it was so dire [business manager left, left all our new accounts in limbo] that I had to talk to the "big" Westpac boss in person to sort it out!), but we should all be cooking with Gas now!

Thanks to get the part away so fast as my mate wanted for the weekend, was going to ask if you could send it before the money cleared in your account anyway :D
ThunderChicken - August 17, 2008 12:55 AM (GMT)
Great service, unbelievably quick to reply, and really helpful.
Ordered some parts off him the day before he was leaving for Japan, He shipped them out that day (even before payment had gone through), apart from a little hiccup which was through no fault of his, it was a great trade.
Look forward to future deals Michael, Thanks again.
Cheers
Cody
