Hey guys,
Does anyone know good places that do window tinting for the IS250s in Sydney?
I'm looking getting maybe 20-15% tint. :)

Im sure club sponsor Brett from ASA (All style automotive) can do it for you. If not i can give you the no of the person i got it done from.

Got a mate that who is a tinter, coincidently we were talking about tinting my car last night.
If you're on the northern beaches I could probably hook u up as it's in Brookvale.
Normal tint comes as 5, 10, 20, 30, 35 etc.. no 15% unfortunately and mirror/colour tint is highly illegal so it looks like 20% for u :P.
Anyone put 10% on the back? interested to see if u can actually see out the back at night..

Charlie has 10% I think, its damn dark!
But looks awesome, kinda thinking of tinting my windows....

20% is illegal too.
if you want to match the rear tints - i suggest you go for 35%.

I got 18% all round ... its great during summer days but visibility reduces a bit during nights. Its just a matter of getting used to I suppose.

get allstyle to do it. Very reasonable pricing
get 15-18%

they make 15%? hmmm my mate was hell bent saying he can't do it for me... weird... If anyone knows a place that can do it cheaper then $250 let me know.

Yeap. Just a recent owner of a black IS250 Sports. Well, since last weekend.
Good car to drive. However, I miss driving manual though...
The car is stock at the moment. Slowly doing the mods again. ;)

I've heard you should make sure not to get metalized tint so it won't interfere with the sat nav antenna in the rear window. Not sure of the accuracy of this but perhaps you could ask the tinter about it just in-case.

Metalized can interfere and is not recomended.
I carry 5-17-35. They make a 15 but not all film suppiers carry it.
Ill do it cheaper than $250 and cheaper again if your a paid up memeber of this forum.
