I'm in!
Found the TRD shifter height was too high for me.

Can see that IS400 wants one, better idea to do a seperate GB for Aus members?

Shipping within NZ is mint, can get it done for under $10 anywhere anyway.
Where would be best to ship to?
Auckland/Wellington etc???

Cashfree - June 10, 2008 11:05 PM (GMT)
Suppose that depends on where everyone is... Auckland?

7 people already...

6 isn't it, and at least one of them is in Aus...

I'm in Dunedin. If any other Dunediners are keen, I'd be happy to split national shipping and figure out some kind of pick up or drop-off arrangement

xnickx - June 10, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
Only 6 for now.

Think its cheaper/smarter to seperate the Aus members from NZ as it would removed the need to double freight, from Austria -> NZ -> Aus -> to other people's houses (can go straight from Austria -> Australia -> houses)

Got you down too Henry, I've added to the very first post by Markus of a list of who are interested, I think once we hit 10 buyers from NZ, we can collect money, and make one lump sum payment to him (via paypal)

alimac - June 11, 2008 03:35 AM (GMT)
When is the close on this? If it's in the next week I'll have to pass. A bit further out I'll be a starter

Well someone has to set a date, I always tend to set one month for GBs, so one month it is!
Closes 13th July!
And that means money into a designated person by then so he can make payment to Markus

Spoon - June 11, 2008 04:58 AM (GMT)
Being the impatient bugger I am, I'd prefer the closeoff to be sooner rather than later, but if people need it to be a month, then that's cool. If we can get everyone signed up and paid up in, say, 2 weeks, that'd be cooler though ;

No worries, then set a number, say 10 units?
I need atleast another 2 weeks myself.

Need someone to organise this, Markus you prefer one lump sum payment or?
Take CreditCard payments?

How about we call it 1st of July to have payments through? Obviously if someone needs to wait a day or two that's OK, but that's a reasonable timeframe for a (relatively) small purchase, I think.

I'd be more than happy to take payments and pass on to Markus, but obviously being a relatively junior member, who doesn't know anyone on the board IRL, you'd all be stupid to trust me ;).

(Oh, and Soiled's profile says Hamilton)

alimac - June 11, 2008 09:21 AM (GMT)
13th July works for me. Count me in.

dirty altezza - June 11, 2008 09:26 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Im In. Auckland massive.

alimac - June 11, 2008 10:15 AM (GMT)
Soryy, should have said. Chch here

xnickx - June 11, 2008 11:47 AM (GMT)
OK well thats 9 NZ members, and since Alister gave us a date, 13th July it is.

All payments due in by the 13th July, and Spoon (real name - ???) is willing to recieve and make the lump sum payments to Markus.

Spoon - if you can, PM your account details to all members who are confirmed (I've added all recent names to the first post) so they can make payment to you and when its all there, put it through to Markus by the 14th July.

Looking at the list so far, I'm guessing its smarter and cheaper to send all to Auckland (5 out of 9 NZ participants) so most the participants can pickup, and the rest can just get Parcel Posted/Couried around NZ.
I can get courier through Toyota for $8.20 anywhere in NZ, average overnight or 2 days shipping.

Please post up if you think any other arrangements are better :woot:

According to my calculations, it will be around $155NZD (for 10 people, will be the same unless we get more then 16 in NZ) at todday's exchange rate landed per person (excluding shipping within NZ - $152.30 to be exact)
CODE
Calculation:
60 Euros x 10 people + 142Euros for shipping devided by 10people = 742Euro
742.00 EUR = 1,522.97 NZD (1 EUR = 2.05252 NZD)
$1522.97 devided by 10 people = $152.30

Ian ;)

Cool - I'll hold off for a couple of weeks in case of any changes, and then start firing my details around via PM.

xnickx - June 11, 2008 10:31 PM (GMT)
Cheers Ian.
Sounds good! Once we get to the 13th July, we will see then how many people are interested, and from there we can work out a more accurate price as the price I got up top was done on last night's exchange rate and for 10 kits.

waffenschmiede - June 11, 2008 11:42 PM (GMT)
I'am very suprised. I never thought that we would sell our products so far away from our company.

Thanks for order our products.

ar rai wa ! - June 12, 2008 01:09 AM (GMT)
what is the height for this one?is it same height as the standard shifter or same height as TRD shifter?

Soiled Altezza - June 12, 2008 05:34 AM (GMT)
<-- Hamilton.

Gareth - June 12, 2008 06:16 AM (GMT)

In Auckland?

Shouldn't add any wear, unless you start putting it into the wrong gear more often (5th to 1st might be a bit nastier than 5th to 3rd at 100kph)

Gareth - June 12, 2008 07:43 AM (GMT)
I just took apart some of the gearbox, I think it's already a short-shifter. Hold off on me until I can confirm, thanks.

mikeynz - June 12, 2008 10:14 AM (GMT)
If I have some spare money left over from My holiday to Rarotonga I'm keen for sure :D sounds like a good deal for sure yay :)

Ohh i'm in chch as well :)

Mike

waffenschmiede - June 12, 2008 10:41 AM (GMT)
It is the same height as TRD.

Gunmetal - June 12, 2008 12:45 PM (GMT)
So what price will the Aussies get them for?

Spoon - June 13, 2008 08:04 AM (GMT)
I'd guess shipping will be $30-$40NZD for a single one from Auckland - so figure on about $185NZD ($160-165AU??). Obviously if there's a couple of Aussies keen, and you can sort freight more efficiently... Well, you get the picture.

xnickx - June 13, 2008 10:29 PM (GMT)
QUOTE (Gunmetal @ Jun 13 2008, 01:45 AM)

I've already noted that IS400 is keen, and if Aus members are keen, perhaps start another GB for the Aus members as shipping would be ALOT cheaper direct to Australia then coming to NZ, then again to Aus.

Gunmetal - June 13, 2008 11:54 PM (GMT)
Ok, well let's start a list of the Aussies who want one...

IS400, are you still keen?

However, even if no Aussies are interested i might get one of the NZ guys to send one over for me...

waffenschmiede - June 15, 2008 08:25 AM (GMT)
I have posted the shipping prices to austrailia.

SSML - June 15, 2008 11:52 AM (GMT)
i m Keen too.
can someone confirm it's an easy DIY job? no special tool required..etc?

waffenschmiede - June 15, 2008 07:26 PM (GMT)
