What a monster. Hope it goes to a good home mate, ill spread the word as I cannot get it due to my license. :(

DR-JEKL - June 14, 2008 07:30 AM (GMT)
Hmm would love to snap this and do a turbo conversion on this instead of my IS300 B)

Good luck with the sale Brett, cant believe how much room there is and how seamless the conversion is, it looks like a factory job thats for sure job well done!

Hopefully it goes to an existing ACOA member?!?!

to be honest this car is tight as, like seriously the suspension et al are in top shape. Maybe it is because it has done serious highway kilometers it hasn't worn any suspension bushings? Even the seats and door hinges are fresh. Freak car... and with 1uz power... haha!

Who wants a nissan-chopping luxury express? :D

RE99IE - June 15, 2008 11:52 AM (GMT)
thats a fairly quick build...can't wait to see the KW...i'm guessing 180kwRw...in stock mode. ;)

eldan89 - June 15, 2008 09:44 PM (GMT)
If only I was on my full license! I guess I could always try the I don't know how it got in there line if a cop pulls me up
I've tried to convince my dad to buy this monster, but so far no dice :(

I was only thinking a few weeks ago wondering who may have purchased this car?

I presume it has been sold as Brett doesn't seem to be pushing it much on here, but then again he is never online these days :P

RE99IE - December 3, 2008 09:14 AM (GMT)
Spoke to Brett today and he apologise for neglecting everyone lately. He's been busy due to non-car related distraction right now (move to a new house) and he got no internet. Also, he said the car is still available and only have some minor cosmetic needs to be done to the car and then it will be ready.

I say 130rwkw :)

I've only seen one early 1UZ hit 180rwkw, and that was through a manual, with purpose built extractors, dual throttle bodies and aftermarket management.

Don't let the power figure deceive though, the torque curve is what makes this engine so good, and arguably nicer to drive than many turbo engines of higher power output.

Cars finished and registered.

Sounds and drives great, would make a great cruiser.

Here are some interior shots.

pgauke - March 24, 2009 12:04 AM (GMT)
this would look so good out the front of the new house... Damn those things called weddings

CoffeeBoss - March 24, 2009 08:09 AM (GMT)
damn.

i need to pay the old girl a visit. And quick.

I've said it before and i'll say it again - i'm truly glad this car went to the right home. It's destiny was to have that unsightly 1GFE removed, and it sure looks alot better for it!

Oh, and Phil - yeah, weddings... i've said that before, and i'll say that again too!! (Mine was in December... and congrats man!)

DR-JEKL - March 24, 2009 08:42 AM (GMT)
A B&M shifter in a lexus!!! :o

Normally this would be blasphemy but hey it has a thumping big V8 in her B)

If anyone gets in this for a blap may I plz request some youtube vids with some obligatory from behind the exhaust clips with someone stabbing the throttle in neutral and some in cabin spirited driving :D
