Hi guys

When I surf to ACOA forums my browser never remembers me, even if I select it upon logging in. Any ideas/

Are you accessing the site through a favorites link?

Cookies may be set wrong..

That's how the site remembers you.

Try emptying the cookies folder and the cache/temp internet files in the 'tools' then 'internet options' if you're using Internet Explorer.

Had a similar problem a while ago, tried all the cookie settings but it still wouldn't remember me, even though other sites were working fine, eventually figured it out, my favorits link was to www.altezzaclub.org.nz, so i logged in and changed it to the page that i was logged on at (http://z4.invisionfree.com/lexusaltezzaclub/index.php?).

But it was working before when linking to www.altezzaclub.org.nz, then all of a sudden stopped.

Ah- there was the odd problem of the Aussie website re-direction.. which I don't really understand.

But I know that every now and then there was a problem with the domain redirection through altezzaclub.org.au to z4.invisionfree.com, and the last time I took it off the re-direction. I don't know if that has upset some of it.

I had that problem for a while ater i deleted all my cookies and cache. Took a couple of days to figure it out. Not sure if IE is the same though. I use Opera as mu browser of choice

I've manually added both ACOAC.com.au and Z4invision but still no luck :)

So firefox is doing it too... so it's not just microsucks IE

I'll try and narrow it down more

I have the exact same problem at home which is a PC with IE and Firefox
Exact same problem at my gfs place which is a Mac with Safari and Firefox
Exact same problem at work which runs Linux

Emptyed everything but problem still there at work <_<

Must be the Au link Im guessing, or something to do with that, as all the NZ members dont seem to have this problem yet?

Nah I have the same problem using Opera on mine, but I just log in anyway now - doesn't worry me too much :P

It started happening to me a few months ago too, couldnt figure it out so I just log in every time now...

click the bit in BOLD and it will automatically log you in. Works every time for me on every computer :)

haha I've had this problem on and off for ages.. just given up on it tho. auto-fill user+pass helps

i had this problem since i signed up.. i fixed it by bookmarking the site AFTER i logged in.

Bookmark the following:

Altezzaclub

Automatically logs me in fine :P

Ahh that works for me as well.

I think its something to do with the cookie being stored for the altezzaclub.org.au link rather than the actual url which is the z4.invisionfree.com/lexusaltezzaclub and redirection or whatever. Not exactly sure how it all works...
