Title: Is250 Rims And Suspension

Hi guys,

My first post :) looking at getting an IS250 2nd hand and have seen what I believe are Lexus optional rims...I think 18" gun metal grey ones with alot of spokes? Is this an official accessory? How expensive are they?

Also would lowering a stock prestige IS250 to around the height of the sports edition affect comfort too much? Thanks :)

Sport Lux wheels are bloody $$$$$$
Price them up from your local dealer.
Sounds like you have seen a sport lux with dirty wheels but they may have offered in a gun metal finish.

Lowering to sport height wouldnt have that much of an adverse effect i wouldnt think.

The 18" Gun Metal colour is the New Colour Lexus offers starting few months ago, with many spokes is one of the Two Options Enkel Rimz its either

the "Spider wheel" (the BBS style looking one) Which is cheaper. (abourt $5000 Including Protenza or Dunlop tyres for the Set)

OR if its many Straight Spokes (like the VW R32) thats the "Formula" 18" wheel whichi s more expensive but still about the same price in the 5K range including tyres. (those Names are wot Lexus people call those Rimz... Reason dont know why LOL)
If u can u can Traid in ur 16" wheel with Lexus probably can get u about $600 to $1000 back.

If u wana Lower ur suspension it will affect the ride comfort as the springs will be stiffer and u will feel the bump more but better cornering.

Damn so quite expensive from Lexus :(

I guess I could find some replica or similar looking rims cheaper....must try and find a pic. I'm sure they are Lexus accessory rims...definately gun metal gray and lots of think spokes..looks good :)

Its 5K got Rimz + Tyres mate. not jsut rimz. If u buy Each rimz by it self it was around $600 or $650 Each. IF u get it form USA it SUPER CHEAP!!! like its for Free or something :P

Just goto http://www.lexus.com.au/model/is250/# and goto "Accessories" and Gallery will pop up and look right hand side and click Accessories again and u will see the List of options u can have. "more like BUY and get riped off :P "

You would have to really loook hard to spend 5k on an aftermarket 18" wheel and tyre package.

Unless its 1992.

Do you get the IS250 sport in oz? I've seen a few sets of their 18" for sale on trademe at reasonable priceses. Even thought about putting a set in the Altezza. Even with freight from NZ you'd be looking at a fraction of 5K

those IS250 sport wheels don't look right on altezza/ IS in my opinion. the lines are all wrong for our car.

Do those IS250 SPORT (18") fit IS200/300/Altezza??
I wonder if the offset are suitable for IS200?
also, the rear rim/tyre= 255/35/18".. massive. not sure if IS200 have enough space to fit.??
