Title: Avatar Change?
Description: Strange
?uestlove - October 20, 2008 06:02 AM (GMT)
Hi guys,
Thought its time to change my avatar, as the car in mine is 3 years old.
I save an avatar in PS, 120 x 90, about 20kb. In my controls, i browse for it, and save it.
What happens is that it resizes my current avatar to 120 x 90...but doesnt upload my new one!
Any tips lads?
Cheers

Haha!! Yes it does! but you have to clear your cache to be able to see it!

Man I hate Windows Vista. I've done everything suggested and I'm still seeing the old one. Any ideas?

Onion somewhere in there you can delete all the saved files/images/whatevers that Windows saves. Its just a matter of finding them-
They build up to hundreds of meg if you don't clear them occasionally, and they hold stuff you haven't used for ages.

Click the Tools menu (sometimes located on the right hand side..mine is..Explorer 7)
Select Delete Browsing History.
Click the Delete files button.
Click the Yes button in the confirmation window (may take several minutes depending how much stuff u got)
Click the Close button.
If that doesn't work, you might have to go to your profile folder and delete it manually from the Temporary Internet Files..
Usually stored at this location -
C:\Documents and Settings\(PROFILE OR USERNAME)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
Type that in the address field in a window..
Hope that helps
