Heard there was an IS-F at the Orange National Field Days today, so we went along and took a few pics and checked it out, thanks to the nice people from Lexus of Dubbo.

Yes, they called me last week. Not sure about a test drive...

No didn't get a drive, it was at a country expo thing so it wasn't possible. I did hop in and start it and give it a few revs though. It was all good, boy that car sounds nice.

Hey All... Long time since i've been on these forums.
I got invited to take one for a test drive back on Nov 1st. I currently drive the IS250 sports lux and was very pleasently surprised at how well the ISF performed.
I, like many others i suspect, just expected a standard IS with a bigger engine. Its sooo much more than that. The suspension is firmer, steering is adjustable at the flick of a switch. The brakes stop on a dime (6-pot Brembo's with a Lexus sticker rather than Brembo). The gear box is sweeeet, the paddle shifts on my current sports lux are a waste of time, but on the ISF the gear changes are quick and purposeful. Then there is the engine and most importanly the engine note.... Wow!!
So yeah, i was pleasently surprised. The car i drove was the blue they do all the ads with, but they had a black one sitting out the back with they took me down and showed me. Very nice.
Now, if only i could find the extra $$$$ :(
