To start this off, I have updated the forum's Invision logo to the Altezza Club logo.

Can we do something else? Maybe something sharper and inviting for people who visit the forum?

Can we change the skin colour of the thread?

Try blacks and reds perhaps over the blues and whites?

I like the Qualitat pic as it doesnt advertise for another company (TRD and HKS), and we may need permission if we are hosting their pictuers as a part of our forum maybe?

Plus the black background on the Qualitat pic would work well with the Black Red and White theme

Thanks for your ideas and feedback. This is just a start in freshening up the forums. Colours were my next update. I'm just having a look around at the options available behind the scenes. So far I have not found too many options.
I have considered adding a photo to the title bar, but we are limited to the size. But this still an idea I would like to go ahead with...perhaps with a cropped section of an Altezza.

may i suggest a change in forum software??

SMF is a great free forum software with great support and addons

A change in software would not be feasible as this forum currently has a significant amount of historical information posted by members. We need to make the best of what we have :)

I would like to see a cropped altezza image at the top, maybe something more like what
twstd has at the top of his website here Driven Performance

What's wrong with the google search we have now?

It's utter bollocks because it will only return results for stuff Google has crawled over...

I will see if there is anything that we can control regarding the search function after sorting out the forum updates.

you forgot another unique feature of our cars.

.... the tail lights. maybe use one to fill the last bit on the banner?

IMHO... with the speedo and the pic of the car it was ok, now it's starting to look too cluttered and disorganised.

I also think the logo would look better on the far left side of the page rather than the callipers if they are going to stay.
