Hi guys!

I'm from Melbourne....and I'm new to the Altezza world - or should i say 3SGE BEAMS world! I don't actually own an Altezza, instead i own a 1978 KE30 Toyota Corolla....thats been slightly modified.

I originally owned it with the stock 1.3ltr 4K carby engine, and decided to upgrade it to a fuel injected 1.6ltr 4age out of a Sprinter...this meant changing the fuel setup, upgrading the front brakes, which also meant bigger wheels to fit the brakes!! stiffer suspension, hydraulic clutch setup, T50 5spd gearbox, shortened tailshaft and a whole lot more!

So finally at the beginning of the year i decided to upgrade her again! This time i opted for the dual vvti 3SGE BEAMS! A lot more power, and a lot better looking! I paired it up with the T50 gearbox (cause im not racing it, and not thrashing it like i used to) and hopefully it will survive, the diff is due to be upgraded with a later model corona avanti diff, a lot stronger than my original!

The engine hasn't given me that many issues (I've learnt to always expect heaps from a conversion) except for the air intake playing up....

Anyways, I'm sure i'll find a solution on here somewhere!
