Looks as though we still have a thread option on here for Dealer Feedback.

Well MCT have purchased up large. They purchased 3 Nissan Dealerships a couple of months back. Closed down two of them I think and used the locations for themselves.
Well their lil empire seems to be growing!

I went in for a vehicle valuation. Was told by Mike the Used car manager that he had no time for me. Something along the lines 'I have no idea what your car is worth, not interested in it so go try Pearce Brothers they'll help you'.
He recognised me from when I had my Tezza, made comment about it. And well the conversation from there went south very fast.

PERSONAL OPINION. I have no respect, no value and no assurance in Manukau City Toyota. I can not trust them as far as I can throw them.
There is ONLY ONE beam of light in that company. And that is Daniel who does parts in their East Tamaki branch.

IF anyone wants service, stay away from Manukau (i cant think of a worse crowd to deal with). Botany is still an ok option though.

BTW- this is a light version of my thoughts!!

Yeah just got an email from Keith.

I have had a ROUGH year. Few deaths in the family. Bike crash (wrote my bike off). Damn auckland drivers, U-Turns in the middle of the road. GRRRR.

I'll come back to Aussie. Catch up with all you guys again. And find out what REAL Toyota Dealership Service should be like. haha

Ah well, car salesmen are car salesmen.. But yes, Daniel seems to do a great job.

Our contact there is the Lexus Sales Manager, who has always been good to the club, but I haven't dealt with anyone else.

Thats a dangerous comment. You know my past with that guy.
He's the worst criminal out there. I tell you, the company director who I wont name certainly knows where to find his staff.
I wonder if they came straight from Paramarama or Mt Eden?

Gavin and I are best of buds, I can just see us going out for weekly drinks - NOT!!!!

Sensitive topic here as you know Keith. $30,000 of repair, 5+ months of being in the shop and endless abuse kinda does that to me. Haha, atleast they paid for the repairs.

Well, it was early days with Altezzas Stephen, and no-one knew what was a fault and what was a characteristic.

There was probably nothing wrong with the car to start with, but they were swapping gearboxes and fitting TRD flywheels to eliminate noises that all of us have.

But yes, I do remember there was some friction....

..and so do they! :P
