Pretty much decided that I NEED an Altezza. I love the Legana body kit. My god it looks hot. :boink:


Theres one on trademe at the moment, I cant get the page cause Im at work.

If you search Altezza 107000 it should come up.

Its going for 12000 which seems rather cheap and hes listed the engine wrong as his car is supposed to have a 3sge, I work at toyota so I double checked.
I have texted him and he said that it has the 3s in it. But hes listed it as the 6 cylinder beams engine, WTF.

But I really like the look of it, with the whole bodykit.

I was gonna go have a look at it to double check. Should I watch out if its that cheap?

If i test drive it what should I look out for mostly?


I know these questions must be asked lots.

Yeah its a bit odd but could be a case of someone else listing it for him and pushing the wrong buttons.

Well, from looking around here I'm sure you can tell the AS200 from the RS200 & decide if you want fast or smooth.

It says twice its a six-cyl...

From the dash in the photo I'd say it's an RS200. Tacho goes past 7k

Yeah its just odd, Its def supposed to have a 4 cylinder, I checked it on our program at work. So if its been swapped what else has been done to it I wonder. Hmmmmmm.



Ive probably got enough to spend about 13-14k. But its hard trying to find a nice standard looking rs200 6 speed with legana bodykit. Maybe Im too fussy lol :unsure:

I want as standard as possible cause a) insurance is cheaper, and B) I love them standard, mind you that bodykit isnt a factory part, doh!


Lol not related whatsoever, I was looking at the accessories for the altezza and you used to be able to get a sunshade as an accessory. Like a big sail thing that you could set up next to the car with poles and then fasten it to the roof... wtf aye.

nothing to fasten it to really, unless you put the ropes through the windows & put them up!

Random, wonder what it uses then.

LOL you got that last png image from the TCM catalogue didnt you (or something like that), havent seen or heard of half the parts on that import accessories list at all! (Like the remote start button...)
Notice how most of them comes up "Part Not Recognised" on the TNZ Parts Portal LOL

Will be good to have another genuine parts person, can compare dealer request pricings haha!

I am now a new owner of 2001 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z-ED

Its not perfect but I picked it up for cheap. service, cambelt etc has just been done. Brand new WOF today. Only problem is the clutch is going I think. and theres a clunking from the front suspension which is rather annoying so I will get that sorted.

Few cosmetic things like scratches. But I Love it!


Whats the best way to go for clutch/flywheel replacement? Is it a DIY job?
