Welcome in Justin ... That's a rare one you got there ;)

What does the Platinum Edition have that the others don't? How many were made?

JTMILLER - January 31, 2009 05:05 AM (GMT)
there were 100 IS200's and 40 IS300's made in the platinum spec although i know of one thats been written off so theres less than 100 of mine left :P

Has a titanium paint colour, 11 spoke 17" alloys with 215/45R17 tyres, an "exclusive" Grey leather interior, HID headlights with washers, moon roof, boot lip spoiler with a brake light, chrome exhaust, metallic pedals and scuff plates and a special badge on the front fenders :P

i don't know how much of that is actually unique to the platinum or if its just marketing propaganda,

the 200 came in 6 speed manual and 4 speed auto, and the 300 came with a 5 speed auto.

Hi and welcome!

Nice choice of simple mods, nice kit and a good conversion!

Changing wheels and suspension too?

JTMILLER - January 31, 2009 06:05 AM (GMT)
i really love the rims that came with the car so i think ill just get them refurbished as the old lady who used to own it did seem to love rubbing up against the curb :P, maybe do up the suspension in about 5ish months time, trying to save up money for a house at the moment so mod's are going to be a few and far between till then.
