Hi Everyone

Wanting to track down a switch (push to stay on) to put into the gap where the "TRC OFF" button lives on cars with TRC. Hoping to get a toyota original switch so it matches the rest of the dash, better still if it has an amber light or something similar (something like the seat heater ones would be perfect). Went to the wreckers today and they were extremely unhelpful, providing only odd looks when I asked if they had any! Find it hard to believe that crashed cars all come without switches! Obviously it was too much trouble to go and pop one out!

Anyway, enough with the rant, have looked at DSE and Jaycar, but all their switches are ugly, would like to keep the factory look! So any suggestions would be great.

(Nick do you sell the seat heater buttons at work???)

Most late model Toyota switches should fit, I stole a switch blank from our work Corolla (2005-ish?) and it fit in the hole just the same.

I went asking at Tparts and got the same reaction, they even told me that Altezzas were a model to themselves and no other Toyota parts will fit (this was before I stole the switch blank from the Corolla though). So clearly that was false information...

Go have another look at a wreckers, they may let you have a look around if you ask nicely, take a switch or a blank with you for comparison. Either that or buy them new through Toyota (Xnickx).

Do you need a seat heater one specifically? Cause you will be able to get the TRC/Snow two button one easy as piss. Quite alot of tezzas being wrecked.

Brand new seat heater button is like 600 bucks ex japan, TRC buttons aint much better.
