ACNZ Mega Meet 2009!
Friday 18 September - Monday 21 September 2009

Our main events are as follows:
1) Slipway - aka Gymkhana/Autocross
Please see attachment on 2nd post for Participant Waiver & Release
Cost - $25 per car
Time - 1pm-5pm 19th Sept
Details - Ben from Slipway will set up a time trial using cones there for us and wet a few corners etc,
Good chance to find out how our own cars handle in different situations etc.
There will be prizes for Slipway (based on fastest lap time):
1st - $65
2nd - $35
3rd - $25
Only 25 cars MAX allowed on so please get in quick, will be on a first in first served basis

Requirements for Slipway:
- WOF and Rego
- Helmet (Motorcycle and motocross helmets ok)
- Cotton Overalls (or 100% cotton long sleeve shirt and pants)
- Fire extinguisher

The fire extinguisher has to be preferably mounted in the cabin, but if it's not, it can be placed in the glove box if your vehicle isn't a dedicated track vehicle

2) Paintball - Thunderball
Cost - $45 per person
Details - 300Paintballs, 2 hours 15 different maps we will probably do about 5 of them.
Females will get body armour, everyone will get masks with goggles etc.
Guys can use body armour if you wish!

3) Indoor Gran Prix Go Karting
Cost - $45 Per person
Details - Enduro Teams Racing.
200 Laps divided into teams of 4 so 50 laps each, drivers swap every 10 laps.
Will be prizes for the winning team too, teams to be drawn at random.
Where - 2 Westminster Street,Kaiwharawhara, Wellington

4) Hanging out and Having Fun
Cost - Priceless
This is the social event of the year, so whether or not you want to join in the above activities, come along because it's going to be a fantastic weekend, not to be missed!

We will require money first for Slipway, Thunderball and Gokarting

Please deposit money for the events into the following bank account:

Please use your login name as a reference, and EMAIL ME (chiew.nick@gmail.com) when youve done it and for what e.g.:

I will keep an Excel file of what everyone has paid for etc etc.

Money NEEDS TO BE IN for the events if you want to participate.

Accommodation:
Everyone to organise their own, these guys have lots of vacancies so get in quick while they still available.
(e.g. Kitchen Cabin $60 for 2 ppl, Standard Cabins starting at $35 for up to 2 people per night)
Make your bookings early to ensure your room
We will be there on the 18th Sept, and leave 21st Morning so only staying 3 nights (18th, 19th and the 20th)

Money to save for:
Gas - everyone from somewhere else so consider this yourself, Aucklanders probably about 2 tanks so allow about $180 there and another $180 back
Accommodation - again everyone to organise themselves (around 250 for 3 nights)
Paintball - $45
Gymkhana - $25
Food (Broken down):
BBQ Food for Friday - $10per person, we will send a group out to do the buying for everyone
Breaky/Lunch and Dinner Sat - $50
Drinks and town clubbing Sat - $50
Breaky/Lunch and - $30
Cobb and Co Dinner Sunday - $40 (PRIZE GIVING :o)
(I calculated all these prices really roughly, and rounded up to be safe)

Friday 18th Sept:
8am - BP Solar (Auckland) - Meet and greet
9am - Leave BP - 9am SHARP - anyone who missed us will meet us at Morrinsville
1045am - Top Pub Car Park (Main Rd ) - Meet and greet again
11am - Leave Morrinsonville - anyone who missed us will meet us at Taupo
1pm ish - Taupo Water Front - Lunch stop & hole in 1 challange
2pm - Leave Taupo non-stop for Wellington ( fuel stop here or Taihape)
6pm - MMBC ( mega meet base camp ) bbq and drinks to get settled in

Saturday 19th Sept:
10am - Head of to Go-Karting
12pm - Lunch
1pm - Slipway for Gymkhana (Start @ 1:00pm sharp till 5:00pm)
6pm(ish) - BBQ, swim, get drunk and maybe hit Wellington for clubs/pubs

Sunday 20th Sept:
9am - Paintball ( 2 teams or 3 teams )
12pm - Lunch
1pm - Cruise & photo shoot around Wellington
4pm - Free time, gas stop and more time with club members
7pm - Dinner - Cobb and Co and maybe prize giving

Monday 21st Sept:
10am - Pack up leave the motel say your good byes and cruise home
