Hey all

Been talking a few members down here in sunny TGA. B) We are going to have a meet up and taste test a few beers on the 6th June (sat afternoon so there is enough time to clean your car or at least make it presentable ) somewhere in the TGA / Mt area.

I am sure there a more lurkers / members around this area so lets all get it together and put some faces to names. If you are not a member yet and are lurking around reading the forums come along too and meet up with other people who have a passion for 'tezza's (lexus can come too !!). :ph43r:

I will take my camera and take a few snaps.

Thinking a place where we can all park up and take group shot maybe bayfair carpark roof.

Got a rough idea on a time in the afternoon? I'm getting more ink done on that morning, but keen to cruise over if it won't be too late...

After consulting a few glasses of brown bubbly over the weekend i have come up with the following flexible options. Funny how you come up with great ideas when doing that :D

We meet downtown TGA in the strand reclamation car park (which i hope has finished it's renovations, harbourside.

This is located next to the kestrel which some of you Aucklanders may remember being parked semi submerged down by birkenhead for a few years.

From there i have a few locations in mind for photos of course weather premitting (yeah right). Sulphur point, minden, mclarens falls.....

If for some bizzar reason it does rain there are a number of good bars / restaraunts just accross the rail tracks we we can continue our pow-wow comfortably indoors.

Will post a google map picture when i get the chance as our work network is too slow.

if someone has a better / more well thought our/ hell any other ideas i am all ears

Where are you guys meeting in Hamilton? What time? Looks like there isn't much Auckland interest, so can I meet you guys somewhere in Hamilton and then cruize over with you :)

We have a new female member altezu (sarah) with her toes in the water on this, she's a bit worried about a boy's only zone. i did tell her that i will bring the wiffee along. I don't see why everyone can't bring their partner along.

If there is enough intrest in a photo shoot at Mclarens falls then it would be best for the hamiltron / aucklanders to drop straight in there on their way over the hill. I will post maps if and when required.

if not then straight into TGA town....... see always need a plan B :)

just had a thought that some of you were wondering what the @$@## Mclarens falls is ?

On the eastern side of the kaimai ranges (ie hills between tga and H/town). is a hydro dam with a large public reserve, plenty of photo oportunities around the park, you may however get your tyres a little dirty
