Got these here with me now, will start packaging and sending them off slowly throughout this week team :) , boxing aluminium air diversion plates is harder then it sounds haha!

Will be sent out in the order listed in the 1st post (since they were first to get their money in etc)

Also, through the production run, we have got 6 extras for people who missed out!

I got one at my house and 5 are with Mark, so depending where you work/live you can pick up the additional plates from either me or mark

ThunderChicken - July 21, 2009 08:30 PM (GMT)
Turned up this morning :)

Was a little bent in the middle, but nothing I couldn't fix :P

Cheers Mark and Nick

xnickx - July 21, 2009 09:08 PM (GMT)
Bummer Cody, hope it wasn't too bad?

Bloody NZ Post! Don't the read the red sticker? :P

ThunderChicken - July 21, 2009 10:24 PM (GMT)
Had TWO red stickers on it too!! LOL

Was just bent in a little bit on the top flat face above the bonnet latch hole, managed to straighten it out by hand.

Its all good :P

streamz - July 22, 2009 03:11 AM (GMT)
Received mine yesterday. Despite the excellent packaging it was a little bent. Once bolted down it was fine though.

Looks great.

xnickx - July 22, 2009 03:22 AM (GMT)
BAH @ NZ Post! Anyone else have troubles with them bending? Might have to reinforce them packaging for future packages.

Glad people are happy with them :D

jeremyflower - July 22, 2009 06:05 AM (GMT)
It is unfortunately very very soft aluminium, it will bend very easily but also should straighten just as easily if you're careful.

Painting is a good idea as the aluminium will scratch easily too. The next batch (if we do another one...) will have to be made from a better quality aluminium just to make them easier to handle if nothing else ;-)

Protective masking tape courtesy of Her Majesty's New Zealand Armed Forces :-)

zata40 - July 22, 2009 11:59 AM (GMT)
Yeah, they bent mine too. But no biggie, was an easy fix ;)

madaltezza - July 22, 2009 07:26 PM (GMT)
i had to modafy mine iv got one more hole in mine for my oil cooler but that ok and mine had a scratch on it but hay it fits and it look good thanks guys

jeremyflower - July 22, 2009 09:48 PM (GMT)
Remember to post up some pics of it fitted, I know they all look the same but we're all about the pictures here :-)

TNT200 - July 23, 2009 09:53 PM (GMT)
Received mine yesterday. It was bend badly in the middle but will get it fit straight without drama.
Thanks Nick

oriphin - July 24, 2009 12:41 AM (GMT)
Man now im worried about what the aus couriers will be like, they are meatheads got in a verbal fight with one yesterday, the filters i got from Nick almost got sent back to NZ :P

lexism - July 24, 2009 01:02 AM (GMT)
troy.... least it wasnt TNT, i have video camera footage of them just leaving a note saying "sorry we missed you" without even bothering to knock!

oriphin - July 24, 2009 01:36 AM (GMT)
is spent 45 minuets at the post office i almost hit the guy, and i had to go there twice because the 1st time they claimed they lost it..

oriphin - July 24, 2009 10:45 AM (GMT)
Picked mine up today :) looks good, a bit different from the aftermarket branded ones in the way that it wont fit under the lip on the grill.

Also had to remove a bolt, not sure what its for, so piece of plastic that runs along under front chassis bar

Ill get a pic when i can, oh and surprisingly no bends or scratches here =D

E910 - July 26, 2009 09:55 AM (GMT)
Glad I picked mine up from Mark by the sounds of things. No bends here & I got a bonus with mine :P
What would be a good way to protect it from any scratches once installed, clear coat or carnauba wax?

I got clear coat on my C/F one and where the bonnet rubber touches it, its left a mark arcoss it.

Clear coat would be the way to go, unless you just want to paint it.

I'll try to grab some off Mark, xero holds them and are his, I'm mearly helping to organise the GB on his behalf.

But yes I will bring a few down with me if there are some left at that stage, probably best to remind me via PM closer to the date :D
