Title: All Tiptronic Autos, Or Some Tiptronic Autos

Now I was under the impression that some Altezzas came out as Tiptronic autos, and some just came out as just a plain automatic. Yet someone else is saying they are all automatic.

I thought the tiptronic ones had the little button thingy on the steering wheel?

1GFE models come with a 4AT trans, which were not tiptronic. (AS200 - GXE10)

3SGE and 2JZGE models came with 5AT Trans, which were indeed tiptronic :) (RS200 - SXE10 and AS300 - JCE10/JCE15 Gita)

Aha! So I was right. My father was insisting that every Automatic Altezza was tiptronic.
Pfft, males!

*ducks from all males on the board*
