Title: Automatic Window Lifter On Locking
Description: Factory Alarm Aux Trigger?

Has anyone managed to install one of these on to the factory alarm system?

http://www.in-car-stuff.com/shop/falcon-wi...odule-p-49.html
or alike... they are on ebay or avail from

http://www.mongoose.com.au/vehicle-securit...ws/mpw4000.aspx
or
http://www.rhinoco.com.au/product/glu400/

It seems they tap into the window motor, 12v source, but need some kind of trigger signal that the alarm has been activated from the factory alarm system... anyone done this?

Thanks Yanman, looks like this diagram points out the alram trigger wire that can be used to tell the window device to power up and supply the signal to the window motors to run for the required amount of time till the interlock is triggered.

Just be a bit careful there

Generally speaking, any after market unit security kits to trigger something sends a negative pulse to the car's system to do a particular function

I installed an automatic door lock controller on mine but had to build a few circuits because of our antitheft system and MPX.

And remember, our powercuts out when the drivers courtesy switch is triggered so you might??? have to bypass this. I haven't tried, but just some things to look out for.

If you look on the UK Lexus site here:

http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...ndpost&p=528850

the picture is from a design by a guy called geoffers for auto mirror closure.
but he explains how to do a window closure setup in the link above.

i have them both on mine and they work a treat.
