Title: Superpro Bushings
oriphin - July 7, 2009 12:26 AM (GMT)
Hey guys,
thinking of overhauling my suspension a bit, wanna try and get rid of some noise etc
Anyone used Superpro bushings before (of know a better cheeper alternative? ;))
http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/superpro.htmlThe carry alot listed for the is200 so im sure us 300s and tezza can run them as well...
Maybe if they are good we could sniff out a group buy?
They also do tein so they must be good LOL :P
(speaking of tein anyone know a rebuilder for tein in nsw?)
EDIT: got a pdf of what they do for is200s so if someone can host let me know and ill email it to you

Should be able to just attach it to this post as an attachment?
How are prices? TRD do many bushes too but not sure how the prices compare to Superpro

dont the TRD bushes end up coming with the whole arm etc in alot of cases so are quite expensive? as opposed to the nolothane/superpro urethane bushings which are sold loose and you have to fit/press them in yourself.
personally i wouldn't go with urethane bushings in a street car, as they require much more maintenance and care than your normal rubber bush to last the same length of time

Most TRD bushes are actually sold alone (no arms)
Rough idea of what TRD can do:

Some of the bushes prices are reasonable too!
E.G.
#26 = $21.96+ ea
#27 = $32.93+
Which VIPs get -15% off so looking at $74.49 including tax for the steering rack bushes (I got them in stock too!)
Considering the genuine items are:
#26 = $90.43+ ea
#27 = $70.49+
(don't ask me why the genuine ones are more then the TRD ones :P )

:o nice! Trd sure has it going on!
Sorry didnt see the attachment area before, i cant access rapidshare etc at work or i was going to chuck it on there
Ill try and get a price list from them so we can compare them to the TRDs,
What are the TRD ones like? rubber? weird that they are cheeper :s
Some of the superpro bushes have castor adjustments (only small) which is kinda cool
EDIT: not sure why you need 6 bushings to mount a strut bar though... weird i though only sways used bushes

Yes defiantly get the price list, would be good to see a good comparison.
Some TRD bushes are well priced where some aren't too flash :(
TRD Bushes are still rubber :D

Troy, is there something wrong with the Tein's or are you just thinking of a rebuild for the hell of it?

Rebuilds are expensive man, its not something you do for the hell of it.
I had two bilstein shocks rebuilt and it was about $180 per shock & P&H on top of that also...
