Does the forum software allow for a shoutbox?
Would be good fun on a site this size.

It hasn't come up in the Invision software at all, although we are running the Mark 1 version and they have the Mark 2 (Zetaboards) released now.

I'll see if Zetaboards have it as a feature.

It's a chat like feature where people can post comments that shows up on the website.

Imagine everyone posting in a single forum thread.

It's kinda like a box the size of quick reply... a little bigger that sits at the top of the forum homepage, which you can chat in:
