Hi There,

I have a 2001 Lexus IS200.

Recently a noise from the front Passanger wheel started happening when i turn right.

The noise is very noticeable when i am parking. If i move the car right i hear a Blurp Blurp Blurp type noice that comes from the front passenger wheel bay and doesn't stop until i straighten the wheels.

Any ideas what that might be.

Thanks

Gareth

|Not sure what blurp blurp blurp is. Could be possibly rubbing on inner plastic. Doe's the sound speed up and slow down with the speed of the car ??

Does sound like something rubbing could be the wheel rubbing on the plastic guard lining or the if lowered or running poor offset wheels it could be rubbing on the wheel arch

Sounds like a possible farked steering pump to me...

Hows the power steering fluid level? has the car recently become heavier to steer?

The tyres probably hitting the plastic guard, when you brake the vehicle squats at the front, when your turning left the front of the left tyre is facing out of the guard, whereas the right tyre is hard up inside the guard,

Have a look inside your drivers wheel arch, look at the black plastic and if it has been scrubbing then you'll see some of it looks shiney and worn

I was told it was because of my 18". And yeah its rubbing against the plastic thing. It should happen on both sides and not one.
