Title: [open] C-west Style Eyelids - Round 1
Description: Auckland, NZ

xnickx - July 29, 2009 05:59 AM (GMT)
Following on from here:
http://z4.invisionfree.com/lexusaltezzaclu...opic=7622&st=25

Found a supplier from the US of A that can do the C-West Style Eyelids.

Minimum order is 10 sets, they are made from polyurethane and no, they are not painted.

Prices:
Eyelids (Pair) - $37 USD (Approx $57 NZD)
Shipping - $50 USD for 10 sets so $5 USD per set (Approx $8 NZD)
Total - $65 NZD per set (give or take a few $ depending on the exchange rate)

The Genuine C-West ones RRP @ over $265 NZD!
http://www.nengun.com/c-west/eyelids

Ontop of those prices, there will be shipping within the country if your not able to pick up from me (as they will all be sent in one box)

I'm still talking with the supplier at the moment but just making sure I can make atleast 10 sets so I'm not wasting my time.

Please only post if you are seriously interested and will follow through with the GB please.

I will be buying a set or two to set aside for anyone who missed the GB (or to sell on TradeMe LOL)

At this stage I'm sorry but I'll keep this to New Zealand ONLY.

But if this goes through well, I'm sure I can help organise one for the Aussies

Added to the list.

I've yet to have any problems with WOFs with my eyelids, but I do have HIDs though, not sure if it changes the light pattern or not

For those who are wondering, this is the supplier and their prices:

OK Please note, supplier has gotten back to me and the first "sample" order is limited to only 10 units.

Also my mistake, they are not fiberglass, they are polyurethane instead (SCORE :P )

Interested if you do a aus one (or anyone else)

OK, Australians fear not, I will somehow organise one for you guys too, just let me get this NZ GB through first so I know what to expect etc.

QUOTE (oriphin @ Jul 30 2009, 11:31 AM)
should i try and hook up as a contact for Aus (i can organize it and set up a dealer account etc) to save the extra postage

EDIT not sure if this will be possible

You can sign up as a dealer but the dealer prices are still about $44.50 USD and $10.00 USD to ship out of USA.

I will help you organise the Australian GB at a later date.

But be patient, if this GB goes through without a hitch, I will organise more (for both Australian and NZers)

QUOTE (jtm_usa @ Jul 30 2009, 04:59 PM)
any idea on a timeframe for them to land in NZ ?
maybe a month ?

Once all payments have come through, yeah I would say a month or so wait time would be safe :)

lonestar - July 31, 2009 12:03 PM (GMT)
Do these come already painted? or do we have to paint these our selves?
I guess i would need to get the paint code from chassis plate

Nothing was stated about painting, so no they don't come painted

Your guess is might be correct, don't think the color code comes from anywhere else on the car?

xnickx - August 1, 2009 01:14 AM (GMT)
OK looks like payments should all be through beginning next week.

Once its here, I will get the orders through.

It will take 5 working days for them to make them, and then were looking at approx 10-15 working days for shipping to NZ.

The supplier did note that he slightly under quoted us on freight (forgot to factor in the packaging etc and the weight of all that etc, which totalled at another $20 USD, but since he's quoted, he will stick to that price this time but the next orders will reflect the revised shipping price.

I've set up another thread for Round 2:

Your correct nothing was stated.. but posted pictured showed a product already paint.. hence why you could assume they come painted...

Just a clarification question nick...

Seems like they are yet to leave USA!

QUOTE (Igor Soshkin)
I am sorry about the delay,

I will have them go out by this Friday.

We had some manufacturing issues which we already resolved.

Sorry about the delay.

So should be approx 10-15 working days from Friday.

I did however ask if he could send them on a faster option since they had problems, and he said he will look into it and do it via EMS if he can.

Cheers,
Nick
