Thanks for the comments.

Not a massive fan of bling to be honest, but the engine bay does need a bit more polishing to clean it up a bit.

as for the stealth box's this is what they are:

Hi and welcome!

TBH Don't think any NZ or Aus members have done the 1GGTE conversion.

Have had a few 1GFE+T and 3SGE+T Conversions and many 1JZ/2JZ conversions though.

WOOT For the G4 LOL, didn't think many other countries used the Link as much as NZ.

Any dyno figures?

Here is a rough idea of what our figures are like:

Yeah the G4 seems an awesome piece of kit and does the job brilliantly.
Only one or two specialist mappers in the whole uk though.

no dyno figures for it currently but it should be about 280bhp at the fly at the moment.

Just getting the money together at the moment to change to a big single. already got the manifold, and the money for the wastegate and the blanket, just the turbo to go lol

As for the conversion, its starting to look like i'm the only one at the moment.
which is good and bad. Good to be individual, bad as nothing to relate to.

certainly non in Europe as far as i can find. or the US.
Cant find any down here either yet. unfortunately i cant read chinese/japanese so unlikely to find out if theres any there. lol

One very nice ride here and nice to see the attention has been well distributed.
I like the engine bay, still very techy but well kept, very nice car.
More pictures please!

It will be.

i made the pipework at my work but i need to figure out how to spray the water.

I was thinking a powerful pump (already tried a fuel pump and it dribbles out).

But been thinking lately, why not have short bursts controlled by a solenoid and pressure sensor?

MightyTeza - August 14, 2009 07:31 AM (GMT)
Welcome bro and nice car :woot: and money well spent.
More pics of the internals would be good, especially the ps2/laptop setup B)

riderzx10r - August 14, 2009 08:06 AM (GMT)
I have seen spray bars like that used to spray nos on the inter cooler to ice it up and cool inlet temps.

a wrx but the principal is the same

Back in '86 I worked for a race/rally engine builder. (Jamie Aislabie in Rotorua) His wife had a turbo Honda with water injection controlled by a solenoid that sprayed water in when the boost hit 7psi. He used a windscreen washer motor I think it was....

riderzx10r - August 14, 2009 10:39 AM (GMT)
yeah my mate has a small tank and pump that he bought as a kit from supercheap mounted in the engine bay with a small garden type spray on it. its seems to do the trick
