I've noticed for a long time that when the doors get opened that the interior light does not come on, is this correct RS200 L Edtion - sunroof.

With all the other smarts on the Altezza I'd have thought this would be a working feature, so before I start looking can some one please let me know if there light comes on when the door opens, and any special setup to make it work.

Most cars you have an option to turn this off.

Ours sure does RS2005AT with sunroof.
also activates when remote unlocked / fades out with remote lock.

Silly question is your three way switch set right ?, light bulb ?

Edit: does your ignition barell illuminate when you open the door ?

just checked mine comes on everytime i open and close all four doors

no special setup comes stock

Have you tried with all the doors to see if its the courtesy switch?

If not is your interior light set to door?

And check the bulb.

Its not a silly question because it don't have a three way switch, which got me thinking why not and then I'm asking if others work ok.
Only has light on/off and two other swites for Sun Roof controls.

Only has one blub and this works fine when the light switch button is pressed.

Ignition barrell illumation works ok.

Perhaps its a down grade on the RS200 L edtion, anyone else got an L Edtion with sunroof.

Silly question but are you looking at the like behind the rear view?

the light that comes on with the doors is behind the sunroof! there will be a three way switch there

OH WOW cpufix WOW :P RS200Z L is the same spec level as a fully optioned IS200 aint it?
