Hiya all

Well, I've seen a number of guys post up when their pride 'n joy got banged up, now it's my turn.

Take a look, my wife pulled a u-turn in front of another car and these are the results.

And the other bloke's car, probably a write-off:

Nooo...!!!! :o

That's terrible!

Still, I'll bet she never does it twice! Luckily the other guy wasn't flying.

So, new rim, guard, door... take them off the white one in the background photo of his car!

True, didn't notice that other Tezza! I suspect it's in better condition at the mo :-)

Thanks for that.
Yeah, she'll be OK but is a bit banged up. Coz she got hit in the side, her head hit the side window. She has a bump and had mild concussion, but that's OK now. Apart from that, she has whip-lash so all the muscles in her neck and back are all knotted up and spasming.

Update:
The Gita will be repaired (bummer, they never get it 100%) with approx $6k + GST of work and parts.
It'll get a "side-cut" from part-way down the pillars to about 20cm into the floor pan, effectively replacing the entire side of the car incl the door sill. Never heard of this being done on a side, only front- or rear-cuts so this will be interesting!

The Mirage that she cut off will be wrecked, $5 damage on a $3k car.

you might have to check chassis, front suspension assembly for any alignment issues and also the steering should be out looking at the way the rim was damaged. haha well it means now you can have a spare door card, spare speakers etc
