For those who have an iTouch or an iPhone,
Have you guys tried this application?
http://www.pocketdyno.com/

I came across it the other day when I upgraded my firmware and looking for something to download at the app store.

Had a search on google and youtube, and some found that it is very accurate, but I have yet to try it myself (need a mount for the phone)

So tried it =]
Oh and safe road and have fun of cause :)

Yeah, apparently I was doing 267km/h down the main street. In a 30k zone.

The full version is $17 - screw that!

I guess it's no that accurate :D
Did you do it on a flat road? or on a slope?

I dont really understand how these can do anything remotely what they are supposed to do. So they use the accelometer in the iphone-is that all? So they just measure the force on the iphone while the car is accelerating?

If these dont know the weight of your car then they cant measure the horsepower accurately-or even remotely accurately, maybe you have to enter this into the setup or something once you've installed it.

Cool gimmick tho

You do have to enter some info about your car before making your first attempt
But I guess it is more of a just for fun app than a serious one :D
