Title: Dead Light

JTMILLER - August 26, 2009 08:37 AM (GMT)
Hey people, the light in the rear foglight switch is dead, not the one that tells you if they are switched on or not (this one still works) but the one that just illuminates the button at night, anyone have an idea what bulb this is and also how hard it would be to replace it? (if more than a half hour job not worth it :P)

Stephen - August 26, 2009 10:37 AM (GMT)
The part number for the bulb is #84999-10780

0.7W Bulb. Appears to be an easy replacement job.

Cheers stephen, i couldn't find it on toyodiy :P any advice or tips on how to replace it?

I believe the switch is only clipped in. Once removed you will be able to see 2 bulb fittings.

Rather than risk scratching the switch, you can remove the lower dash panel and access the switch from behind.

If you get the bulb out, some auto store may stock generic bulbs to suit.
