Title: Which One?

What do people reckon is better for the exhaust headers, wrapping in exhaust tape or HPC coating?

Can't decide yet

Definetly HPC. I have seen Heat wrap go wrong plenty of times and light up the engine bay because they soak with oil ect and just burst into flames even though they are ment to be flame retardant. Go with ceramic coating FTW

x2 for HPC it is a lot more efficient then tape and looks a lot better also

x 3 lol
ceramic coating is the goods and costs about the same so my mechanic tells me. I just forked out for all my turbo, intercooler piping and dump pipe to get done

Cheers guys, that answers that, HPC it is then. I have to agree it definatly looks better.

Why the hell did you get your intercooler done? WTF??? You do realise how an intercooler works dont you>??? If you apply eramic coating you basically just insulated your intercooler! HPC works buy keeping the heat in!!! So if you insulate your cooler there is no way for the intercooler to radiate heat to the ambient air?
Basicaly you have just made yourself an interwarmer!!! The Idea is to HPC everything but the intercooler if you can afford it otherwise most people just insulate the down pipe!

rider only got it done on the intercooler piping not the actual cooler itself.
