ok so i got 170,000 kms on d clock...bout to install the turbo kit...question is should i wait and save money for another engine or will this one be alright...ive had no problems and no noise at all.

As long as you treated it right and serviced it regularly and replaced the timing belt then the engine should last 300,000. Install your kit save for a new engine and get the engine built to support big numbers safely. This will be expensive but well worth it :D

Depends what kind of boost you plan to push through it.

If your doing about 7psi it "should" be ok on that engine.

If your using another lower KM engine, might as well go the whole hog and put in forged pistons, replace the seals/gaskets etc etc just to be safe.

thanx for the info guys...just found out ill be going to spain instead of ramstein...still taking my baby though....we will see what happens
