Title: Help Urgent
Description: Altezza died - TRC Blinking
koz - September 8, 2009 11:47 PM (GMT)
My altezza just died on me.
I jump started it... Drove it out of the garage... I closed the garage... Got in... Gas pedal ineffective untill 3/4 of the way down... Limp-mode?
TRC was flashing... I tried the gas again... It revved slightly and totally died on me...
Couldn't start it again since the battery is buggered...
Now I'm blocking my [f**k]ing drive way with my other car inside... So I can't even jump start it again..
Any ideas what may have caused this?
Thanks.

Take the battery out of the other car & hook it upto the Altezza to start it, then remove it once its going.
I assume it's an auto? Can you put it in neutral & push it out of the way if worse comes to worst?
Could just be that flat/buggered battery thats causing the problems.

Took 4 people to push it up the drive way. Couldn't push start it at all.
Had to jump it... I opened the hood and my [f**k]ing cat was sitting there on the [f**k]ing heat-shield next to the battery. Fur everywhere...
Anyway, ran the car for the past two hours, seems OK now. Got a new battery. Hopefully everything will be fine now.
What a crap day.

Yeah autos can't be push started.
Glad to hear you got it sorted, hope you got a larger batter with atleast 400CCA+ this time LOL!

Technically they can be, but in the realms of realism you are right :)
Need to push them up to about 140 kph to start an auto.
