V mount = ?

When the intercooler and radiator make a V-Shape, reducing piping length (and helps to hide the intercooler for stealth points) and apparently helps in both the radiator and intercooler getting its fair share of cold air

Never seen it on an Altezza myself, due to the lack of space, seems quite common on the FD3S Battys though:

could be a good idea on my car since my piping is 100kms long???

Space is pretty tight...but still do-able :) would any of the turbo guys out there be interested in a kit if it was developed? my friend who is doing it (engineer) has been toying with the idea?....I will take some pics and post them up soonish :)

would really work well if you ditched aircon and used a non oem radiator (shorter in height and width, but thicker in core) and got some decent ducting going and a properly designed bonnet to allow air to escape through.

IMO a huge amount of unecessary effort to go through for a road car(You'd obviously want to consult a certifier while designing and building it if the car was to be road legal), but would be very much suited for a race car where response and flow are much more important, and you have much more freedom in regards to rules and regs.

(bearing in mind i have no idea what your application for this is)

I have stuffed a big intercooler into the front of an altezza, good luck with anything other than vertical placement. There are mm to spare between engine ( real engine :P) and fans. Certainly no room to lay it on any sort of angle.

You will note all pics above are of rx7's.

Not doable in Altezza i think you'll find, not without some custom bulbous front bar (read: fugly).
