Title: Manual Boot Release Problem
Description: stopped working

RE99IE - October 6, 2009 03:57 AM (GMT)
Before I start dismantling my boot, anyone had this problem before?

I can still open the boot using the remote but either the cord has snapped or unlatch off the release mechanism.

What is the odds of the cable snapping?
<_<

I'll find out once I start taking the car apart -_-

pulling on the release... does it still spring back down or just it stay up?

If it goes back down the cable should be fine... maybe just disconnected from the clasp.

Turn the lock in the boot with your key clockwise. Turning the key anti-clockwise will deactivate the lock release lever. Give that a try.
