I,m after a lift pump,the motor is a beams blacktop,2litre.pump i,m looking at is a toyota gx61,motor is igge,external pump,If I have copyed that correctly and this makes sense,would this pump flow enough gas for a lift pump?

yes,doesn,t need much pressure,just a reasonable flow

High flow, low pressure pump is what you need for filling a surge tank, dont think an EFI pump would be so good for the job... (As they are designed to deliver high pressure, low volume by comparison)

I'm guessing you're going to mount the Altezza fuel pump with the returnless fuel setup inside a surge tank?

Pretty easy to swap over if it's an external pump, shouldnt be very expensive either... I'd swap the pump if it were me doing it.

Perhaps have a shifty at pick a part, look for a fuel pump from a carburetted Holden or something, some have external fuel pumps...
