Title: Springs Vs Coilovers

I went out today and got a quote to get some new springs or coilovers in my car so it will pass rego. Its going to cost about $500 for a set of king springs with an alignment etc. or about $3000 for a set of tein adjustable coilovers with an alignment and tuning etc. Is it worth the extra $2500 for the coilovers?

Imo dont [f**k] around with springs as they will be $500 and labour, then labour again later when you need to replace your stuffed shocks which are mismatched (the oem shock valving wont be suitable for the springs)

$3K for teins is a fkn ripoff!

Since the USD vs AUD is favourable atm import yourself a set of flex's for around $2K and do it right the first time round.

Don't bother with springs!

If your on a budget get something like this:

Pedders and HSD make really good budget coilovers. Just stay away from G4 etc, they are just plain rubbish.

Otherwise your looking at about 2k+ for some Japanese coilovers.
