Alrighty knowledgeable people i'm about to go and whack the new sound system in the next few weeks, (stay tuned to the vip build section :P) but my question for today is what parts can i take from the stock settup and put in a mates old rolla?

These are my best guesses as to what each bit can do,
Front Speakers ~ Should be ok?
Rear Speakers ~ No go as they would kill his HU's amp?
HU ~ wouldn't fit without a lot of stupid work
Amp ~ way too hard to get out from behind the glove box,

So all in all the big question is will the front speakers work without the stock amp?

Fronts will work without an amp, but recommend one as always LOL

Giving your fronts with the tweeters aswell?

X2
"Fronts will work without an amp" would add the factory tweets as i would expect they are/require remaining part of the set for impedence reasons ?

rears could be utilised although i wouldn't bother
forget the paperweight head unit.... not worth the work.
wouldn't bother withthe factory amp either.

Have you evaluated what you are going to do with your curent car when you upgrade to an IS-F in a few years :D ie returning the car to factory and removing your new gear or leaving the new setup in place ?

my 2c's

Alrighty thanks for the confirmation guys,

Will chuck him the tweets as well :P

In a few years ill buy myself a nice GS460 (not 450h the environment can take another one for the team! or if they have gotten around to it, the GS-F) and the IS will turn into the project car, this baby is never leaving the family :D
