I have a click type torque wrench, and have loosened couple turns below the minimum torque on the scale, then tightened it back to minimum, later found out I wasn't suppose to turn it below minimum torque.
Would the wrench still be accurate?
I hope so, because I always turn mine right down when not in use so there is no constant strain on it!
The instruction that came with the wrench:
"When not in use keep lowest torque setting"
"Do not turn the grip more than one turn below the lowest scale reading or above the highest scale reading"
Websites online say similar things as well.
Hmmm... bit of paper vanished soon after we bought it...
Mine's labelled Pro-Tech, Australia, but I'm sure its made in the Aussie State that speaks Chinese. No website for it that I can see.
Anyway, here is all about it-
