Title: Hamilton Burnout Comp '09

ThunderChicken - November 7, 2009 03:05 AM (GMT)
Just finished my exams, so what better way to let off some steam than a burnout comp.

Pretty good turn out, about 35 cars entered. Tagged along with a mate in his S/C 1UZ Hilux that he entered.

Now to the important stuff, pictures...

Awesome Cody. Had a mate heading to this, and I am in the mount. Always the way. When I am in Hams there is something going off in the mount, and when I am in the mount there is something going off in Hams. Greats pics bro, and looks like a great day :D

He didn't build it for the paint work! nothing a new tray can't fix, lol. He had it in the burnout comp the night before at meremere after giving it death on the strip. You can hear some muppet at the start of the clip asking what happened last, got a bit warm after running it down the strip several times then straight into the burnout (hose didn't go, contrary to what the dude thought...)

Little bit of turtle wax bug and tar remover cleans the tray up fine.

But man it was painful watching the xr8 destroy its rear bumper, along with a stunning El' Camino thats was in show car condition, and a '69 mach1 fastback that was sacrilege to have it on the pad.
