'an apartment... that would be a semi-permanent inn?'

Jiro pushed open the door to the office and poked his head in '' Hello you must be the mayor'' Jiro then walked in and sat down in the seat in front of the desk.

Alex looks up, and, seeing a figure enter the office and sit down, she smiled slightly,
"Yes, yes I am, please, call me Alex."
She puts the pen down,
"And you must be Jiro Akagawa."

Alex thought about this,
"well, usually a shop would be 2000G, but yours has a second floor for the rooms to start with as well right? How about 2500G? you'll get 2 rooms on the second floor, and a level 1 shop on the first?"

Alex nods in understanding,
"Perhaps making a down payment of 1000G, and then 500G at the end of every season until it is payed off?"
"Well, a basic 3-room complex would cost around 450G to build... so I'd say in a few weeks you would be ready!"
She smiled,
"with a bit of hard work off course"

Alex smiles brightly,
"If there aren't any other problems, whenever you're ready to make the first paymet, please remeber to sign this contract as well."
She places an official document in front of Jiro, entitling him to a plot of land in Mint Square.
"I hope all goes well."

Jiro reached over to get a pen out of the cup on the table.
And looked over the contract and signed it-
X____Jiro Akagawa_____
Jiro handed over the contract to Alex.

Alex glossed over the signature, and then signs the document herself.
Passing a copy to Jiro, she files the other, and, smiling warmly, stands up, holding out a hand,
"Well Jiro, Welcome to Mint village!"
