Mint Village was co-founded by ancestors of Mineral Town, Flowerbud Village, and any other Harvest Moon Village that have popped up along the way of the game series, SO, the entire point of typing that grammatically awkward sentence is to say that Mint Village will also be G-rated, and that will mean some *ahem* rules.

Wooing
This is when you court the girl/guy, either way is okay with me, mutual wooing is fine too. In this stage, you can give gifts, go out on dates etc. But something to note when you are wooing: even in the world of harvest moon, it takes more than a few game days to woo a girl, so keep that in mind, and keep your heart rates in check! ^_^
Relationships
Once you've passed the wooing stage and is in a pretty steady relationship, remember that some villagers may become offended if you make out/snog in public. Also remember that it is NOT nice to steal other people's girlfriends/boyfriends or two-time your own. Off course, if this is important to your character developement, PLEASE PM all others involved, especially the owner of the character who is going to get hurt, so that they know in advance.
Marriage
In order to get married, you must be on a red heart (or equivalent) with each other, and the purchasing of a blue feather is recommended. The wedding can be held anywhere, and you may have a public wedding where everyone is invited, in which case Town Hall will offer to pay for 50% of the expenses, or you may have a private wedding, where only friends and family are invited. Weddings will definetely count as a MAJOR event.
Family
After you get married, one of you may sell off their property and move in with the other one, if you would like to start a family, (ie have kids) then make sure that we hear and see NOTHING during the process. Pregnancies will last for 2 seasons, and it will take the baby 2 seasons to become RP-able (or you can just treat him/her as a NPC)
Please note that any posts depicting graphical sex will be deleted. and if this happens at your own house/property, the entire topic WILL be deleted as well. All of your characters' money will also be taken away, think of it as excise tax, to controll undesirable social traits. ^_^
