How to make a text light scrawl

1. 1.take your sig and condense it to a jpg.

2.duplicate the sig layer.

3.now make a 3rd layer, fill it white, and type in your text in black, then using the magic wand tool, press shift to select each letter.

4.now delete the letters and the white layer and select the top sig layer and cut out the text, you shouldn’t be able to tell you have.

5.make a new layer between the two sig layers and use the gradient tool with these setting and 100% opacity to make a vertical beam (color is optional). Try to get something like this.

(note- the top sig layer is invisible in this, otherwise the beam would not be visible.)

6.Press ctrl shift m to go to imageready. This animation window should pop up. If it doesn’t go to windows>animation.

7.now duplicate the frame and move the beam all the way across the text.

8.now motion tween the first slide with the second and put in how many slides you want. (more=slower, less= faster.) here’s what I got with a 10 slide setting.
