Two words - Steel Bars

buy coal for 150 each. The lower the price the higher the profit. Then mine some iron by your self, smelt it then sell it!

2 coal - 300
1 iron - ----

Cost - 300 + some xp to smithing

selling price 500 - 550.

Revenue in 1 bar: 200 - 250 gps

lets say you make 200 bars (u need 400 coal and 200 iron and this can be done in a day)

selling them for 500 each (minimum) 100, 000

cost for 400 coal 40, 000 now the profit is 60, 000 (60k)

you can make the profit more by mining the coal by your self or buying it for less OR selling the bars for 550 each.

that just takes ages, mine coal then sell, thats my tip

marketing is good if u have about 20-50k
world hop the rune shop in varrock buying chaos or death runes
once u have 200-300 runes sell them for a high price in crowded worlds
chaos runes-150-250 ea death runes-300-400 ea

Go with yew logs, they go for 300gp each, and once your woodcutting is a good level, you can make 30k worth of yews per hour, if not quicker.

I merchant coal. I buy 100 each sell 150 each. If im lucky i get a good iron seller who sells 65 ea lmfao. Well, big bones are nice too buy 300 ea sell 375 ea.

these are OK but not good enough. im saving up 2 mil for rune (g).

if u have members then alch yew longs. if not market, i take in 3 factors wen marketing. % of money u make per item sold (i.e. buyin steel bars 250 per sell 500 per ur gettin 200%) the diffuculty of buyin the item, and the diffuculty of sellin teh item. eventually u will get a nice happy balance between the 3.

DO NOT SELL ORES! I used to mine ores and sell them on, then when I wanted to start smithing the ores I mined my mining was like 60, my smithing was about 25, and I was really bored because I had to mine iron and smith that, with a mining level of 60! I have spent a lot of time and money sorting this out though and I now have 64 mining and 59 smithing. Try and keep your smithing level about 5 levels below your mining, or you will regret it later. Try selling bars (or arrows if you are a member) and then you get smithing (and maybe fletching + woodcutting on p2p) exp as well. :-)
